Ms. Russell received her BA degree, summa cum laude, from Arizona State University, in Tempe, Arizona. She graduated cum laude from Arizona State University College of Law. She is admitted to practice law in Arizona, California and Texas.
She is unique in that she has a wide range of experience in corporate business matters, having worked during her professional career in both large and small corporate legal departments and large and small law firms.
She served as General Counsel for Ameron, Inc. and Vidal Sassoon, Inc., both California corporations. As General Counsel she leaned a basic business understanding of staying within budgets and finding realistic solutions to serious legal matters. In the role of General Counsel she managed sophisticated legal matters for large publicly traded, international corporations as she dealt with the day to day variety of legal issues affecting the business of running a business. She readily recognized the necessity for pragmatic solutions to complex problems, while at the same time dealing in a highly regulated and overly litigious environment.
Today, Ms. Russell acts in the role of outside general counsel for numerous small business clients, including many woman owned businesses, who want the advantage of readily accessible legal advice without the expense of hiring inhouse counsel.
Her accomplishments include effectively advising major corporations on their various business needs including regulatory compliance; SEC reporting issues; mergers & acquisitions; sales of business assets; drafting all types of business contracts; personnel matters; intellectual property rights; and supervising complex commercial litigation in all courts of record.

She is an active member of the Arizona, California, and Texas Bar Associations. She is a past president of the Corporate Counsel Section of California Bar Association; Past Chair of the Downtown Mesa Association. She is a part time adjunct professor with Keller Graduate School of Business Management.
